And that is all the pollen the bees will get from our crocus because the deer came through and ate every single blossom last night. Then it snowed. Again.
I’ve had to stay off Tumblr because we have data limits and we were almost there. So what a treat to come on and find luxlit reblogged my photo. Thank you luxlit, strepentsilences, amomentovbeauty for that and anyone else I missed.

Geese, turtles sunning, open water, warm weather; what more could you want.
Old blooms and new.
The ducks found some open water on Lake Michigan. I’m guessing they are migrating through, they don’t stay there all summer.
Last year’s flower.
So nice of the sun to come out! The crocus finally opened and the honeybees showed up, one or two for every flower.
Still ice as far out as you can see on Lake Michigan north of South Haven. This is where a creek comes out into the lake to create some open water.
The ice is finally off the ponds. The frogs are singing but not posing for pictures, just the geese.
